With results for the Avengers contest on hiatus until May 1, we're running redesigns of any character for the duration of April. This lovely Emma Frost kicks things off to a great start:
Johansi has sent in some fantastic redesigns to our Wonder Woman, Starfire and Birds of Prey contests, and was kind enough to let us run his take on the X-Men's Emma Frost to our site. Roughly based around the Frank Quietly redesign, this version retains the "high collar trench coat and...super high platform shoes", but changes things up a bit by "[modifying] her jacket, top and pants" into a progression of Quietly's design.
The "X" on the jacket is a great way to incorporate the team logo, and is continuous with how the logo has been integrated into Emma's uniform before. This design looks like she could walk into an X-Men title right now.
